This website

lissia.app sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. It is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which briefly processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.

The app, on one device

Everything you enter stays in the app on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

The app, when you sign in

To keep your devices in step or share with your household, you sign in with your email address. From then on your data is stored on our server, operated by Supabase, Inc. in the EU (Paris) region.

Your budget – amounts, dates, notes, categories, accounts, spread purchases, repeats, budgets and settings – is encrypted on your device before it is sent. Only you and the people you invite hold the key. We cannot read it.

To make the service work, we can still see: your email address; your display name and your household's name; who belongs to which household and whom you invited (by email address); how many entries a household has and when they change; and whether a household has Lissia Plus.

Sign-in codes are sent by email through Resend, Inc. (USA). When the apps are in the App Store and Google Play, purchases are handled by Apple and Google.

Why, and for how long

We use this data only to run Lissia: to sign you in, keep your devices and household in step, and know whether a household has Lissia Plus. We never sell it and never use it for advertising. It is kept until you delete your account; deleting the account in the app removes your data from our server.

Other countries

Cloudflare, Supabase and Resend may process data outside Switzerland, including in the USA. We rely on their contractual safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework where it applies.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and receive it. Most of this you can do yourself in the app: export everything as a spreadsheet, and delete your account. For anything else, write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
